I am shocked that I haven't posted on xanga in over a month.
Where has the time gone?
Really, it's just flown by since I've started working at the Early Childhood Education Program (ECEP) at Trinitiy Cathedral.
I still enjoy working with the babies...and my coworkers are great too. I think we learn a lot from each other. If one of us can't get a kid to sleep, the other one will find a way to get it done. Teamwork is a great thing.
Tomorrow morning, I take Susannah to the endocrinologist at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Our PCP wants her to see someone to make sure she's ok size-wise. At her well check this summer, she'd dipped down below 10%...where she'd been hovering for a while. She's probably fine but our PCP is careful and I like that about him.
Alex turns nine officially on November 9...which is tomorrow. We had a little dinner and birthday cake for him this weekend. Tomorrow he goes to birthday lunch with Dad. I'm so proud of him and who God is making him to be. He's thoughtful and generous. He's becoming a leader which is super exciting to us, too.
Right now, he's into skateboards, RC cars, dirt bikes and scooters...pretty much anything on wheels and money. Yes, the boy loves money. I saw his money spread out all over his nightstand and a note which read "Alex's money: 29.04." He doesn't want to forget how much he has.
So funny.
And now it's time to head to bed.
