  • Week Two in review

    Let's see how I did...
-rid ourselves of remaining yard sale trash in garage
-take "other" items to the church for ministry/office use
-pack sacrificially two rooms of the house

Not so good. I tried to take the trash to the dumpster, but both dumpsters were overflowingly full.
I took nearly everything to church that needed to go...except I think I still have a bedframe or two in my garage. We might be able to use these though, so not sure if I'll take them.
I almost finished packing Alex's room. His closet is done. Pretty much all I have left is a few of his toys and his bottle collection.

We had a slight delay in our plans for the house. It seems that the roof needs repair/replacement. Despite the fact that it's only 10 years old. Three people agreed that it was on the end of its life. The roofer that looked at it said that it MIGHT last another year. We are asking the seller to get their insurance out there to see if it has enough hail damage to replace it. We are praying that it does. But we can't get the appraisal of the house until the roof is repaired, so we'd like this to get resolved quickly so we can get moving. Our closing date won't change if we can get moving quickly.

All this stuff with the roof has distracted me from packing, but I plan to get back on it this week.

    Week Three
-Finish packing the unnecessaries in Alex's room.
    -Pack the living room shelves.
    -Consolidate files into one cabinet

Not gonna put any more on the list than that this week because I want to actually get it done.

Pray for the roof to get fixed by the seller, please!
And pray also for Kristin, the niece of a lifegroup friend. She is pregnant with triplets and her cervix isn't holding. She's only 21 weeks. They are afraid she will lose the babies. They'll stitch her cervix up in the morning and send her home on bedrest. Pray for God's glory to be shown to all of them through this experience.

    Debbie
